# What You’ll Need:
→ Fruit
01 - 20 large fresh strawberries, washed and thoroughly dried, stems left intact
→ Chocolate Coating
02 - 8 ounces white chocolate or white chocolate chips
03 - 1 teaspoon coconut oil or vegetable shortening, optional, for smoother melting
→ Decoration
04 - 40 mini dark chocolate chips for eyes
05 - 20 regular-size or mini dark chocolate chips for mouths
# Step-by-Step Guide:
01 - Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy removal and clean-up.
02 - Place the white chocolate and coconut oil (if using) in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 20-second intervals, stirring thoroughly between each, until chocolate is fully melted and smooth.
03 - Hold each strawberry by the stem and gently dip into the melted white chocolate, swirling to coat thoroughly. Allow excess chocolate to drip off before placing on the prepared baking sheet.
04 - Before the coating sets, press two mini dark chocolate chips onto each strawberry to form eyes, and one regular or mini chocolate chip to create the mouth.
05 - Continue dipping and decorating the remaining strawberries. Let them set at room temperature until the chocolate hardens or refrigerate for 10 to 15 minutes to accelerate setting.
06 - Serve immediately or keep chilled until ready to serve for optimal freshness.
